
Hamilton – Payment & Policies
Payment
- Full payment of room rate & tax for the entire length of stay is due upon check in
- We accept cash, debit, Visa or MasterCard (NO personal cheques or American Express)
- A valid Visa or MasterCard MUST be present for a $100 security pre-authorization (temporary hold) in case of damage or incidental charges incurred during the stay (no Visa gift cards or prepaid Visa / MasterCard)
- Failure to complete payment will result in the cancellation of the reservation
Regulations & Policies
- Check in time is 3PM day of arrival
- Check out time is 11AM on the day of departure
- Guests must be 18 years of age or older to reserve and check in to a room
- Valid photo I.D. must be presented upon check in
- 100% SMOKE FREE facility – evidence of smoking inside the Residence will result in immediate eviction without refund & a $300 fine on the credit card on file
- Zero tolerance for illegal drug use and underage drinking – guests found to be using illegal drugs, or drinking under age will be asked to leave immediately without refund
- Alcohol is not permitted in any common area of the Residence (i.e. hallways, elevators, meeting space, common spaces, lounges and laundry facility) or in the Mohawk College parking lot & public spaces
- Any person(s) causing excessive noise disturbance will be asked to leave the Residence without refund as well as incur fees as compensation for other guests disturbed or inconvenienced as a result of such behavior
Cancellation
- Reservations may be cancelled up to 3PM the day prior to arrival – no fee will be incurred
- In case of no show, 100% of the first night’s room rate and applicable taxes will be forfeited
- Cancelling upon the day of arrival, or cancelling a remaining reservation on the same day (after 11am) will result in forfeiture of that night’s stay
